Nov 2011 Blustery Rainy October - "We thought we would have a night away in West Bay during the off season in October, just a slow trip down and then stay overnight at the West Bay Hotel, It rained,the wind blew. I thought half way down I would turn round but the wife thought different. A good job too! I have never been welcomed so well or had such great service or such a sublime seafood meal as we had that evening. The room was well very well laid out, the breakfast was fantastic, and the staff, at all levels were a credit to the hotel. We will return as soon as we can. Many thanks." Jul 2011 Out of Comfort Zone Surprise - "Considering I don't normally eat fish I tried something totally out of my comfort zone (to the surprise of my wife). I had Black Bream with Red Mullet on a bed of stir fry vegetables with a light creamy curried sauce...WOW! The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Right on the coast, a lovely bay and I recommend the West Bay to anyone who enjoys quality fresh food in a cosy environment, try the rib ride too!" Jeff Graham - Southampton
